Looking for one of two types of Conures.....:rainbow1::orange:
Either a Nanday, or a Pineapple/Cinnamon.
Needs to be male as the rest of the flock is also male... Besides Mom...:09:

I live in Waterloo, Ia, well actually 5 miles out of Waterloo...

HoracesDad you can check birdbreeders.com. It looks like there are no listings in Iowa but there are in Illinois. You could also do a search online by your state for the conures you are looking for. Never send people money for a shipping fee online because it could be a scam. Tell me you would rather pay in person and see if that sends them running. If it does, it's a scam. If you don't mind paying shipping one safe place to buy is M & D Birdworld.com They won't scam you. Also, there is a parrot rescue in Letts, Iowa called the Iowa Parrot Rescue. Google them and you will find them.

Thank-you for your suggestions, although I believe I have found several of each type....
And they are a rescue, Nebraska Parrot Rescue, I filled out the app, and called her, she told me she has several Nanday and a few Cinnamons/Pineapples available, ranging from 2 yrs to 15 yrs..... :smile015:
Just awaiting her response.
When I talked with her on the phone she asked if I had any experience with Birds..... LOL
I took a Sun Conure that only liked women, and has given me several scars from being male, and 3 years later, he is my bestest buddy, I can even roll him over on his back and "fight" with him... (basically tickle his feet with my finger tips) and he just lays there, and keeps wiggling....
I took a Baby (8 month old) Jenday, that had no interaction with People or birds, or animals of any kind, and he now is my Bonded bird, three days after getting him, I could hold him with my bare hand, and give him meds.....
