Welcome to Parrot Forums! Thank you, for join us!

Tracking down good Breeders is becoming ever more difficult. You are going to have to search out a Breeder and may have to travel further than you would like.

Start with your areas Avian Vet. Since good Breeders work hand-in-hand with their supporting Avian Vets. Those Vets know what Breeders they have in their area and what Species they are Breeding.

Check Bird (Parrot) Clubs in your region. They are also a wonderful source for information regarding Breeders in their region.

Pet Stores and Rescues are also possible source for Lovebirds.

The Internet will provide access to 'mid to larger' Breeders!

The number of 'Good' Breeders continues to decline as pressure from 'Mill' style breeders undercut market pricing.

Do not buy unweaned Baby Birds or Parrots! The baby(s) need to be fully weaned onto solid food for at least two weeks prior to you wanting to purchase.

2 Lovebirds: 1 male A. r. roseicollis (Whitefaced Violet Mutation) & 1 female A. r. roseicollis (Green Mutation?)
I actually have two lovebirds in Irvine, CA that I'm looking to rehome. My housing situation/life situation is getting a little uncertain because I'm about to apply to nursing school and my birds haven't been getting the attention they deserve. I am not in a rush to do this, I am looking for a home that is even better than the home that I provided for them. I want someone who can not only provide a safe environment but someone who will really cherish them.

Let me know if your interested
