Hello there
I am located in Turkey.
African gray cockatoo looking at a macaw egg.
There are too many crooks.
Is there a place to buy with safe trading?
Will you inform me?
(I'm using translate. Sorry for the misspellings)

All egg sales are going to be SCAMS at least here int the USA. Since parrots cannot be imported or exported there would be no way of knowing for sure about the scammers in your area in Turkey. But I would strongly advise you to only buy a weaned baby bird, one that is eating on its own and doesn't need formula. Raising baby birds from eggs without the proper experience can and will end in a dead baby bird.

Best to buy a weaned baby from a reputable breeder, NO EGGS! Again, they are all scams, no breeder would sell eggs like this, and the one you may get will never end up hatching as it will likely be infertile and you then paid hundreds of dollars for nothing.

Keep researching, adoption is also a great option! There may be parrots in need of a great home in your area.

The old egg scam. Anyone offering to sell parrot eggs are scammers. No breeder going to sell you a good fertilized parrot egg. Yes some ill try to fool you as they will take a fertilized egg that never hatched as developing embryo dies and they put it in refrigerator and sell it as a good fertilized egg and people will candle it thinking it is good and think it is something they did wrong and reason it didn't hatch. Or some sites will pretend to accept PayPal but link dead and only working is wire, or bitcoin transfer and never sent anything at all.

Don't fall victim to these scams. No breeder will sell a egg they can make a lot more off letting parents raise the baby.

Illegal and a scam. Europe has some of the strictest laws on birds that I've seen. You need so many certificates to transport bird or even parrot body parts from country to country, which takes months to acquire, and many of those require unique identification, such as a microchip or closed leg band. On top of that, I believe it is illegal in certain parts of Europe to pull chicks from their parents (i.e., handraising); and I believe Denmark is one of those countries that requires a parrot to be eating regular food, not baby food before it can be sold. So -1 point there because it's not possible legally.

Biologically speaking, parrot eggs are incredibly sensitive. The humidity, temperature, movement, etc - they all have to be precise or else the chick dies. Even if you ignore the legal limitations, even experienced breeders lose chicks when they attempt to incubate themselves, then add transportation problems... ultimately wasted money. So another -1 point because the egg will probably die.

Finally, if a breeder waits a few weeks, he could sell the newborn chick for thousands of dollars instead of selling an egg for only hundreds of dollars. That is a lot of money lost.. And -1 point again because it is illogical for a breeder to sell an egg for less money than selling a chick for more money.

Ignore the scam. It has been around for years. Just google "parrot egg scam", and there's a lot of explanations online that says it is a scam.

Hope this works well with Google Translate - I tried translating my English text to Turkish then back to English

Thank you.
You really convinced me.
I have a machine for incubation.
I wanted to enlarge one baby, but I understand that this will not be possible.
I wish you a good day.

I gotta 110% agree with Flboy, he was short sweet and to the point, 100% scam. Unbelievable how these people can scam folks, guess thats why I love my credit cards, and the use of PayPal with anyone I don't know, and unless it's family I don't use the send money to friends and family option, I always use the guarantee backup. I've only had to use the retrieve my money option once, and that's because the shop owner kept promising to send the items, then swore to PayPal officials it was in the mail but couldn't prove it, and they swiftly reversed the charges and got my money back. The item sure enough never did show up as the shop owner promised they were on their way lol

If you did do transaction with credit card, or bank card. File a charge back for fraud, most credit card companies allow up to 45 days, some 180 days. Banks it can vary. Hoping you didn't wire money, or use bitcoin, as money will be gone?
