Does anyone know much about bourke genetics or can direct me to a good site with information about it?

One of my two hens is a red eyed rosey bourke which I'm trying to find out more about. I read somewhere that it's something to do with the fallow mutation but that was about all I could find out.

My son has asked me to produce a hand raised bourke for him which means I have to either pay through the nose for one or breed and hand raise one myself. I've chosen the latter path and would like to retain the fallow if possible.

My birds are Normal male bird unknown splits
Red eyed rosey hen unknown splits
Red eyed fallow hen unknown splits

What I was thinking is if the rosey hen is split fallow which is what the red eyes are about then pair her with the male and hope for a split to fallow male. Pair the split male to the fallow hen and hope for fallow birds.

Admittedly my grasp of genetics is incredibly rusty currently so I could use any and all advice.
