I wonder what mutations I will get from mine.My Male is a Pearl pied but I think one of his parents might have been Lutino which means Rocko could have Lutino daughters. And Loki my Female is Cinnamon pearl.I am also planning on keeping one of the babies.

Please look in the breeding section and read my thread nest box danger so you can learn from my mistakes.

My grey male split to pied and my pied female gave me a lution baby. I also got a pied but ss far the cheek patches look to be coming in yellow. I'm pretty sure someone is split to cinnamon too.

If you want to see them my babies can be seen in my thread meet the babies. I can't seem to put in the links from my phone.

Oh and I'm keeping one too. Probably the lutino. I gave away one yesterday. Well I still have it of course but I told my friend she could have the one I didn't keep. I was really surprised by my little girl.

Yes, you've made that announcement a few days ago already. :)

Rocko my Male cockatiel is almost 2 years old I have him since he was around 6-7 months old and it took around 5 months to fully tame him including harness training. And Loki my Female is around a year and a half old.I am planning on breeding them in February.Rocko has a strong bond with me but also a bond with Loki so I like it that way.Loki is very sweet and calm but doesn't really like to hang out with people she prefers to be with other birds.

Even though I am SURE you already know this (since you're an avid researcher and all....), hopefully you are aware that even though your tiels may be sexually mature, there is no guarantee they'll be getting it all right the first time around. :)

Aww they are soo cute its hard to imagine ill have my own little chicks in a few weeks.

Ya, that truly is VERY hard to imagine. :D

If neither parent is carrying any hidden genes, you'll get pearl offspring. Males will be split cinnamon, and all split pied.

Do you have supplies already for breeding? Such as an extra large cage for the chicks? Brooder? Hand feeding supplies?
