Hey, sorry, been a crazy few weeks with the new rescues.
I'm pretty sure she ate the egg or it fell on the ground and a dog ate it up. Her egg butt is completely gone, no more laboring behavior and she is back to her sweet self. No more growling or beaking!
She must be one sneaky bird to have an egg and make it disappear. The chihuahuas will eat anything though, so there's a good chance she rolled it out of her cage.
