My little sis hand feed a Baby parrot just water

Hi guys today when i was not home my little sis though our Baby Alexandrine parrot was hunger so she picked up a syringe and feed him water ( just water )

after i heard the stroy i chedked his belly and its Full and now i have no idea what to do .

Is water dangerous for the baby parrot?
What should i do about the next feed since only water wont help with his hunger
I really have no idea what to do now plz help

First, welcome to the forum!
I just spoke with a friend who fed baby Alexes, and she said the water will pass through very quickly. Just do the next feed as you usually would.

Welcome to the forum sounds like your young sis is in Love with the baby parrot too otherwise she would not have given the water to it :)

It shouldn't be a problem, but my only concern would be the bird possibly choking while being fed by your sister, so I would discourage her doing it without supervision! Maybe for the next feeding you can do it together!

Your little sister is obviously keen to share and learn so very good opportunity to give her some training on rearing and keeping birds. Perhaps she will want one of her own some day?
