Business side of Breeding Questions allowed?

I have some questions on the business side of breeding that I have and am wondering if those are allowed here? Such as licensing questions and advertising suggestions.

I am still new and there are a lot of stickied posts to continue to read through.

I *think* so long as you aren't actually advertising on the forum or disclosing personal information like email/phone# it should be fine to ask questions in the breeding subform about that kind of stuff.

I think it’s allowed; you can always pm a moderator to be sure your specific question is ok. As a forum we are very much in favor of people asking rather than guessing

I would think that any questions are fine, just as long as you're not trying to make money here, or asking questions about anything that would deal with abusing any birds or other animals...And I don't say that because of you specifically, but rather because people do come onto forums like this, thinking that it's fine to try to figure out how to mass-breed their birds for monetary profit, and some of their "techniques" are less than stellar, if you know what I mean...

As far as business questions about bird-breeding, I'd think that would be fine...They'll let you know if a question you ask is not fine, I'm sure...

Yes we have some experienced breeders here that can help you with these sort of questions. No one really ever mentions the business aspect of breeding and selling weaned babies. Many breeders have different ways of doing things, not just parrot breeders but cat and dogs breeders, too! Ie. where they register as a breeder, how to get leg bands, with your breeder code, how to sell potential babies you have, where to advertise them, etc. Ask away!

As well stated by previous posters. questions about the business side of breeding are allowed as long as you aren't advertising

I don't remember seeing questions about licensing, etc. before and think it would make a good thread.
