In the absence of member interaction, best I can offer is this thread: So you bought an unweaned baby... Please read the pages beyond initial warning to learn helpful techniques. You may have to contact the breeder or certified avian vet for personalized advice. Please let us know how your alexandrine is progressing!

What Scott said... plus...

Certified Avian Vets
https://abvp.com/animal-owners/find-an-abvp-specialist/
If none are near you...
Avian Veterinarians
http://www.aav.org/search/custom.asp?id=1803
In my opinion, any of the vets listed here should be better than a regular vet.
International contacts, too.
Or... sometimes I find a place to start just by Googling "avian veterinarian near ((your location))"

Good luck to you.

If you are from the Indian Subcontinent, please be aware that Alexandrines are illegal to trade and keep. Their wild populations are declining because of the trade.

Re: wean my alaxendrine

Greeings,
Thank you all for responding.i wanted to share an update with you guys.
Yes it has started eating again as he was in weaning process so he is trying to eat diffferent things on his own.
The thing was tha i was feeding him by plaving him on a shelf in my room that is why he was not interested.
Once i placed him on my shoulder he ate like a kid.

Also he started exploring things special; he is really interested in my light up mouse and will not let me play game .

I think he is getting attached with me .

Any advice for toys or food?
