Age to start weaning macaw?

Hello,
I've read a lot about weaning, in this forum and on internet.
But due to this post and specially of this comment of SilverSage, saying to start to offer weaning food to a 3 weeks old cockatiel. (At the begining I though It was a cockatoo)

"You should be offering weaning foods. Fresh greens, WELL RINSED sprouts, pellets, a few fresh veggies, some boiled or scrambled egg, whole grain toast, things like that. And clean water constantly."

A question came to my head, should I start to offer weaning food to a 1 month old macaw?

I'm no baby Parrot expert, but to my understanding, a Parrot should never be sold until they are fully on solid food for at least two weeks.

I will provide your Thread a light bump up the list, in hope that one of our Breeders will see your Thread and provide you the information you need.

I'm assuming that the breeder (small 'b') is not responding to your questions?

Yes you should be offering solid food to your baby but you don’t “start weaning” the baby will do that herself when she is ready.

I'm the breeder in this case. I'm absolutely NOT going to sell any bird who is not eating on it's own.

It's the first Ararauna chick we have from our couple, that's why I'm having so many questions about this type of bird.
