My ringneck pair laid eggs this year and the babies hatched. Uknowingly momma didn't care for the chicks and rejected them and 2 of them died and I had to save one. This little fella is now about 6 days old, he eats well and responds well to his formula. The only issue are his feet, i try to sit him up but he falls on one side and lays there. The left side seems a little behind compared to his right, also his right foot seems damaged. This my first time raising a chick someone please help!!!

Until someone comes along with advice, best I can do is share the following thread written by one of our breeder-members. I’m having a hard time seeing from the picture but it looks like he may have one club foot and one that’s been bitten by his parents. The best thing you can do in addition to everything in the thread that was linked earlier is to give him something to prop up against. I use infertile eggs but small clean stones would work well. He needs to stay upright for his digestion to work well, but it’s dangerous for him to be constantly falling over because he can bump his crop and aspirate. Let the stones warm to brooder temp before propping him up on them.
