Neck Movement In Alexandrine Parrot

Hi, What does the neck movement in Alexandrine Parrot mean. He dilates his eye pupils, and almost swings / snakes his neck with little mumble type sounds. What does this mean?

mine used to do that when he was having a long talk to himself, eyes pinning and neck snaking/bobbing, almost like he was retching? it just meant he was having a good old yak to himself....! When their eyes pin its usually because they are concentrating or really mad!

I get the feeling he is trying to communicate - unfortunately am not getting it though.
