Bad timing but hopefully things work out the way I want

So this morning I got a call from the breeder I had mentioned before and she told me the babies she currently has well be ready in the next 4-8 weeks. Which would be exciting except for the fact that I quit my job last night because my boss finally pushed me past my limit and I know I SHOULD be starting my new job on monday but I don't know for sure and I'm still waiting to hear from them as to when I start. But I am hoping to hear from them in the next couple days so I can get my new bird.

well I did hear from them but sadly I did not get the job

I'm sure I will get something soon though I'd really like to get this bird though

I know it makes no sense to me. Why have somebody fill out the new hire paper work and stuff and say they didn't get the job. I know theres nothing in my background that could have prevented me from getting it and I don't take drugs I rarely even take excedrine for my migraines.

Well thanks to one of those job application websites I got a call for an interview I never applied for the job but because this particular website (with your premission of course) lets employers view your resume. This employer saw my resume and I now have an interview for Monday morning I can not wait because it's the same job as my last which I actually loved until my boss was hired.

UPDATE: Had my interview today and it ended with her asking if there was any thing else I needed to know and because the interview had gone well I told her I just needed to know when I start and she looked down and said she had to finish the rest of the interviews because they were already scheduled then she looked up at me and said " you can start... I will call you tomorrow"

Thanks for your support guys. I'm excited because while working at my last job I decided I'd really like to have a career in hotels and working in another hotel will only help me reach that. PLUS it means I can go meet the available babies the breeder has currently (this is the last clutch of the year) and decide which one I want and put a deposit on it as it is still weaning and therefore not ready to come home just yet. So keep an eye out for an introductory post here tomorrow night introducing Riley (yes I have picked out the name already)

s/he is a cockatiel. There are two normal grey females a lutino and a white faced grey. The breeder says they are all females but as we know you have to wait for the first molt to tell with a white face or do a DNA test. And since I don't know if what I'm getting I chose a gender neutral name.

I will be meeting with the breeder about this time tomorrow. I will need to pick up a bag of zupreem fruit blend because thats what they are currently eating but I have zupreem naturals so I have to change it over.
