Thought it was about time I posted an update on my little guys.

First is Flynn, and while she has come a long way since I first rehomed her she is still very nervous and really doesn't like hands inside her cage, She will now come and land on my hand when she comes out, but she won't come out very often. She is the reason we are building an Aviary for the little ones. They get to be birds and fly around all day if she wants to. She is still whistling and making a little noise but not too often.

I rescued her from a very bad home, She never came out of her very small cage, she had seed husks as food and a really green slime for water. If she made a sound she was beaten. Its still amazes me how she ever learnt to trust again. She is definately the flock leader and keeps all the other ones in their rightful place. :D

I should say, when I rescued her, I had no idea of her species, she didn't look like anything. It was Alison who told me she was a red rump. Flynn's previous owner told us she was a Lineolated. I knew she wasn't, her species never really mattered to me, just that I got her out of the situation that she was in.

She is beautiful, i also want an outside aviary of small birds who chitter chatter the whole day long. I love bird sounds, my tiel and ringneck dont make the natural sounds, and i think if my ringneck made it, it would be horrible! I love the pics you take, you should do freelance on phototaking peoples pets, you are really good!!:D
