I am eventually, when the little one doesn't want to fly so much anymore, am planning on making a PVC Play Gym. But I am wondering whether a PVC stand would be the best option? Like are his feet going to be too small for the pipes?

Honolulu, Hawaii
Parrots
Budgerigar: Arrow, Esther, Kratos, Cora, Ducky.

Lovebird: Izzy, Gizmo.
1/2'' are the smallest, you can create a really simple one and drill in pre-made bird perches into the piping.
I'll have to find a video.
But IMO, PVC stands are one of the easiest and cheapest playstand you can make.
Are there any bird safe woods around where you live?

I don't know much about bird safe woods o.o I am wondering if you mean like wild wood? Or buyable wood? Also do you have a list you trust of all or most of the bird safe woods? I mean I have orange and mandarin trees in my back yard along with a camellia, I don't use pesticides on them, I could cut some branches off of them ^^

There's also a eucalyptus grove nearby that's grown a little wild, though I don't know if I could get any of the wood.
