Lovebird: Izzy, Gizmo.
Arrow and Esther had a pretty long vet checkup - around 2 weeks.
And I thought why not give them a bath since it's been almost a month. I know I know, that's an extremely long time (if you would like to know I don't mind PM as it's more personal and I rather not share it quite publicly).
...Back on track, they loved it! Arrow really got into it (yellow female) and enjoyed every second of it. Esther got quite bored after the first 10 seconds. They really had a blast overall though, it took me 7 months for them to start enjoying baths.

(Abnormal looking poop was from stress, they haven't been handled in a while as well--I try to keep my hands off because they are extremely phobic)

At the vet they did great, especially for untamed birds! It took a while to get them but they settled down and were really well mannered.
They were cleared to be perfectly healthy in every body part, and gained a few grams (Arrow gained 5!). The vet also complimented her legs :D

Oh, and on a side not, I got Gizmo to start using cuttlebones! Today was a good day IMO :p:p

I am glad to hear they got a clean bill of health :) do you have plans to tame them?

Taming them would be amazing but unfortunately, they got to the stage to where they are extremely shaky and skittish around people and more foreign items (non bird supplies). So right now too, I am working on trying to get them more relaxed with people around them. My hand cannot come 5 feet from their cage without panic, so the best thing I'd like to do is extinguish that fear.

Other than that, they really enjoy each other's company and are really content with each other. One is ALWAYS following the other, they really don't like being seperated. It came to the point where I had loaded their cage with toys but they never bothered to touch any.

Aww, they look so happy after their bath:) They are gorgeous, btw.
My budgie finally started using her bath I put in the bottom of her cage, and I was thrilled. So much easier than misting her:)
It took several months until she decided to try it on her own. Maybe yours will learn to like that as well once they are not so afraid?

(Ah, so sorry, I was going to respond but I forgot about this thread.)
Thank you! There was a huge difference after they had their bath

I had a dish on the bottom of their cage for about 2 weeks but they favored dunking their food or pooping in there instead and since I was at school I took it home incase they decided to drink from there.
Totally agreeing about the dish though! My wrist hurts after every bath since they usually go through 2 Home-Depot spray bottles :31:
