can some one tell me if its possible to keep these birds in an outside aviary,I live in eastern Spain close to the med sea,winter night temp can go down as low as 0c,although my aviaries are clad in winter and do have some form of heating

Yes, it's possible.....

If your winter temperatures are a damp cold, that might affect your parrotlets if your aviary is set up with just breeding cages that are not shielded from the wind as any heat would most likely be lost to the wind.....

But of course they need to be adjusted to that setting, not just all of the sudden of course.

Hi Thank you for help,sorry for not replying earlier as my internet connection has been down for 3 days,,I will introduce them to the aviary when the weather is a little warmer so the can aclimatize over the spring and summer anthen they will be ok for the winter,the aviary is completely enclosed in the winterand does not have any draughs etc
