one budgie about 4 months. her name is lucy
hello so this morning i gave my little lucy kids organic spinach, kale, lettuce and celery. so she loves the leafy stuff, but does not show interest in celery and i have read, seen on utube videos how they love it. My other question is i also got her a pear, a yellow one but shows no interest in that either. does it make a difference if the pear is a yellow or green one? my other big question is an eating to much treats or food make her tired. she has days were she is up all day with only one short nap, but then she is napping on and off for the next couple of days. is she just getting all her engery out and being that she is young about 4months she needs this extra nap time.
all advice you all have given me has worked better then anything i have read online. so again thanks for all the personal experiences and stories they help like you would not believe:greenyellow:

It sounds like Little Lucy is settling in perfectly, glad to hear you're making such good progress.

I wouldn't worry too much about the foods Lucy is ignoring, that's perfectly normal. She may avoid a particular food one day and gulp it down the next. There are also some foods she may never like. If she's eating kale, that's a big plus. My budgies like carrots, apples, pears, squash, but they only like it if it's finely shredded. They also appreciate a drop of coconut oil mixed into their chop occasionally. Broccoli tops are a favorite too, they double as toys.

You're doing great. Thanks for the sweet update.
