Well Scout's tail has been bobbing pretty hard while at rest.. I'm very concerned and taking him to the vet tomorrow. They said it could be a tumor or a respiratory issue.

Anyways, my question is should I take his cage mate Sawyer with him? For comfort? I hate to separate them... Would like input on this
Thank you in advance. I hope it is just a respiratory infection and not something worse :(:(

Scout is very active as usual, playing with toys, screaming(LOL), throwing food and things... He eats fine/drinks water so i'm really really REALLY hoping it will not be serious.

Hi and poor Scout. I can't answer those questions for you but maybe you can answer these and that will help?
Is Sawyer at risk of the same infection? Do you need to separate now?
Will it cause an inconvenience at the AV's office if you have Sawyer too. (I find it hard enough taking just one and concentrating on him and the AV).
Take a favourite toy for comfort.
Good luck with Scout and fingers crossed.

Thank you so much.. Also I'm not sure. I will see tomorrow... Based on blood tests and a check up. If it seems like it was spreadable I will treat Sawyer also. Scout though is having actual symptoms.. Sawyer seems fine but we will see. If he ends up having some respiratory issue I think he would pull through better maybe since he has no symptoms visually. Thank you for the comment I appreciate it. I am considering taking just Scout but at the same time maybe they could listen to Sawyer's chest and see if he sounds wheezy maybe? I'm not sure. I might just end up taking Scout so it will be easier on both of them. Thank you.
