Pete and I finally shared a shower together today. He will probably be blinded forever, my husbands eyesight seems to be declining.

She sat on the ledge and watched, then took to my hair, before playing in the spray on the floor. It was great fun :)

Of course the water wasn't too hot, and I didn't use any shampoos or soaps.
And now I know longer think that those of you who shower with their parrots are weird.

Ham loves the shower, it's getting to a point where I have to fight him for water time when we are in there ....

Kito loves his shower time, but Bucc just sits on the shower curtain pole and mumbles "dont do it" when I'm putting little bits of water on him, then he turns his back and goes very quiet. :D

yeah Cricket's spot is on the curtain rod... but if he is silly enough to fall for the step then he comes under the water with me  I usually come out with a few dings and dents to my body :D

Hamlet's spot is in the shower and Mac goes on the curtain rod ... Mac hates the shower ... can barely get him to take a bath ...

Well I have done the bird human shower together combo thing and I got my BBooBB pinched by my macaw as I was holding her on my arm.... (((((ouch)))) that hurt. So Now I give the birds a shower then put them on their stand to dry off while I'm taking my shower. Or I'll put one of them on the shower door so they can watch... My shower is small and I have large birds so it's makes it difficult..

I love to hear shower stories and I don't think it is at all weird for people to take showers with their birds. In fact I think it encourages the birds to like showers. So thats a good thing:)
