Well I am so happy right now. Its been a month and I have been getting a better bond with my little Lucy. She loves when I play with her. She will Step up and Step Down multiple times. Also every time she will stop and look at me just waiting for me to say "Good girl. Good job Lucy". Can't wait to keep working with her to get her trust since right now she doesn't really like it when I try to go to scratch her, but now she is letting me from time to time touch her wing.

You are being a wonderful guardian, Lucy sounds so happy and content.

Communication is so so important, keep talking and talking.
Teaching a bird to talk, has so many benefits, not just to talk, but to communicate as well.
You are bonding closer, more each day, and your bird is learning at the same time.

Trust will eventually kick in, sooner than what you think
