If your pet stops eating all together then that is a bad sign, you need to take him to an AVIAN vet now!

Are you still hand feeding? Has he fledged, yet? What kind of weaning food have you offered him?

Yes i am handfeeding it. I was giving him the formula that the breeder gave me and he loved to eat it. Now he wont. I tried some fruits and soaked bread. He'll take just one bite then turn away. But he is very active otherwise

Try to grate fruit and vegies... Max loved apple, when he was a baby... He still does, but now he basically eats everything

Has he fledged, yet?

Max refused his formula, when he fledged... They need to loose weight in order to get in the air and they know this...

Yes i took him to a vet. He said he has fungus growing in the roots of his feather. But he also said that this is not the reason why he isnt eating. Maybe its because he wants solid food. But how am i supposed to feed him if he wont open his mouth?

Leave his weaning foods in a bowl and let him eat when he wants to! if nothings wrong he'll eat when he's hungry enough haha
