We are going to be budgie sitting Troy, a friend's bird for the next 11 days or so while my friend and her family are on vacation. He was just brought over last night, so the poor little guy is pretty scared. For you budgie experts, is he indeed a male? I have him in a spare room with the doors closed to keep the cats out and go in to visit with him from time to time. He's been an only bird for a year or two, do people think it would be safe to bring him out into the living room with me around my two? It does make me sad that his cage is so small. He used to have a bigger one (although still not big enough in my opinion), but when his cagemate died, he was downsized. He's such a cutie!
