I also think it might be green is because some of the seeds on the seed mix are dyed Greenland sometime they'll put the colored seeds in thier water and the water would be dyed green . Could thier poop be green because of this.

Can you post a photo of the poop? and what types of foods are you birds eating? If they're eating a pellet post a photo of that too. Remember that birds hide disease extremely and droppings are the first sign of something being wrong. Diet is the first step towards being healthy too, if your birds are on a seed or colorful pellet diet start transferring them to harrison's crumbles, totally organic, even Zupreem natural is better then colorful pellets.

I feed Rosie my galah a organic greenish pellets, this causes her droppings to be a dark green color but the urates are still nice and white. Her poop also turns a much darker color as it drys.

*edit*
Dyed seeds shouldn't cause any coloration unless the dye leaked into the seed itself, post some pics because without them we can't help too much other then saying take them to a vet
*end edit*

A truly Massive morning poo

Totally Organic pellets and two Harrison's power treats which will be thrown on the floor

Thier urate is white . I think the poop might be green because thier water got dyed green . I also dont know how to post pictures on here because I use my I pad to go on here. It was only one poop that wAs green . The rest was brown or black and white. Since the poop they was green was on the perch I also kinev think that the poop could've got green is they walked on thier poop and mixed the white with the brown. I'm also planning a vet visit.:greenyellow:

Normal parakeet feces should contain a greenish brown poop and white portion which is the birds urea. Pasty vent ( dirty unkempt vent rear quarters) is one sign of a problem. Birds are very energetic especially in the morning so a listless or inactive bird is a bad sign. Budgies attempt to mask most symptoms of disease as ill health is not attractive to a mate and makes it an easy target for a predator. This means you must watch carefully for clues of illness. Good luck with your bird.

Sorry lol I wanted to photographer the larger poop so he could see how the food effects the color as clearly as possible. No matter what poo is always a bit gross haha

Let us know how the vet visit goes, also there might be a tutorial somewhere online on how to post a image from a ipad.

I took both of them to the vet. The vet said thier was nothing wrong about them , she clipped thier nails and flight feathers a little more. She also wanted me getting them on pellets. I told her and I'm already trying to get them on thier so she told me some good ways to trick them on to eating it. She said the poop mightev been green because the food dye mightev went onto the seed . I was also right. She said it could also be from the colored water. Thank god I know thier ok.:D

P.s , I'm a girl

I think he's okay. Make sure he's mood is always right, if he doesn't energize or changes he's mood. He should be okay..
