For young birds, it may take several sessions for them to get it right...this is true of birds that have not been together too long also.....just be patient, if it is going to happen, it will happen, as long as your birds are healthy and happy.....

Ottoman, just be patient.....in the U.S., there is an old saying...Practice Makes Perfect...they are practicing to get it right.....

I think nest box is term/name you are looking for. Although nesting pairs normally prefer a nesting area that is somewhat private, if the hen is carrying eggs, she will lay her eggs wherever she can, including the floor of her cage.....

Taking away the nest box will not stop any eggs that may be in progress, so I would probably just leave everything the way it is right now.....others on the forum may disagree with me, but if your 'tiels have been doing a lot of practicing, I would just wait a couple of more weeks.....

i agree with weco also I don't mean to sound rude but it sounds like you really need to do some research on breeding tiels I did a lot of research before i bred my lovebirds and my green cheek conures it pays off in the long run! good luck!

practice makes perfect i like it ;D
so i understand that
-they are trying to learn how we can do it best.
-i leave everything the way it is right now
-nest box better stay in cage for more practise
-they do it i believe when the time is come i think
-if i take away nest box they are still paracticing nest box not too important for that
shortly i dont touch anything everythng the way it is right now ;D
