my wee little babies....

well, I have to say this has been just an amazing experience, one for the books!
I have been hand feeding these three baby cockatiels day and night, almost since birth, as the parents were not taking proper care of them. I've never fed anything this young before, as I normally feed my babies around 2.5-3 weeks

two babies have red eyes, and one with dark eyes.
the oldest is now 9 days, my daughter named him Angus, and his eyes are staring to open today!! he's starting to see us for the very first time.

the middle one I named Chance,and the slit in his eyes will be a little wider tomorrow.

the youngest baby is named Abbey, she has the cutest little peep ever, and loves to hide, oh my gosh. I can always count on a search and find mission with her, she loves hiding under the stuffies.
we think they are just adorable!!

they are all doing exceptionally well growing, and gaining weight.
they are very very special to us.

Oh I love little alien babies! It sounds like they are doing wonderful! Please keep us updated with growth and progress pics!

me too sweetbird, they look like little teradactyls, with their bulging eyes, but I can't wait for them to open them.

Awwwwwww!!!! I just love seeing pictures of how these babies progress. Those eyes are kind of creepy, but I know the little ones are going to be adorable when they grow into them lol

Oh wow, they're so small... I'd be scared to break them! Will they two with red eyes be albino, or can lutino tiels also have red eyes? Just curious.
