Hello everyone. I am getting a bee bee parrot :green2: in 6 days and would love to hear from people who have them.
I have the diet down pat -- I think.
Cage is all set up. Play gym for him/her to play on.
Treats and toys galore!
Am I missing anything? How long does it take for them to bond?
Anything you can think of.

I have a parrotlet and budgies. This is my first bee bee.

Thanks

Anybody? Advise please! Not sure about bee bee parrots and bonding. Do they bond like any other bird?
Go slow? Have patience? Work with him daily?

I don't own one, but have heard about them briefly.
now that you've got my curiosity peeked, I'm going to go look them up.

maybe you could look it up under the 'search' box, it will pull up any info and who has talked about them.
I would LOVE to see some pictures when you get it.

Hey teagal, welcome to the forum. I'm just across the river from you, Terra Ceia/Palmetto. There's a vet in the Pan handle area that is a long time breeder of these. I looked at breeding them myself but decided not too. I'll try and find some contact info for the lady avian vet near Tallahassee. i also have a friend in California who keeps/breeds canary wings, she's really good for advice, I'll PM you that info. See you around, neighbor.

Hi Neighbor!

I'm trying to tame this wild bird now. Had him a week today. He's between 7 months and a year old.
Not hand fed or held!! It's gonna be a rough journey for both of us!!

By the way, I got married at Emerson Point :10:
