It's been over a week since Puff has finished his medication, and has not regressed one bit, so now I can sigh some relief:D

I brought Puff and his 'girlfriend' Smoothie into the living room for some sunshine today and took this picture.

the both of them have the same personality and get along so well!

Judging by the photo, it does look like you have a male and female!!!!

Both are lovely, and so glad Puff is doing fantastic!

Awesome :)

My parrotlet has that same wheel toy. It's one of the few things he's interested in!

What a difference to the first sad photo you posted of Puff! He looks like quite the young man about town now. His girlfriend's a bit cute too. What a lovely outcome for you, Puff and Smoothie. :D

They're so cute. Smoothie reminds me of my boy Gadget when he was a baby :) I love her belly patterns.

I was hoping he would not regress again, like I said, but he seems fine, healthy now and happy.

I wonder what kind of babies I would get, ha ha.

Unless Smoothie is split blue, all offspring would be green offspring.

Puff appears to be a recessive pied. If this is true, her eyes should remain dark. If she is a dominant pied, then she'll get the white iris. She is a blue budgie with grey factor. (from what I can tell - looks similar to mauve) If SF Grey, you'll get some grey offspring (green series grey) and some non-grey offspring. If DF Grey, all offspring will carry a single Grey gene.

Smoothie is a Dominant Pied Spangle. Some offspring will be pieds, some non-pieds. Unless he is split blue, all offspring will be green base birds. Some offspring will also be spangle.

Estimated offspring includes normal greens, spangles, spangle dominant pieds, grey green, grey green dominant pied, grey green spangle, grey green spangle dominant pied.... unless both parents are dominant pied, then you'll have the chance for DF dominant pieds.

If it's not grey factor but a mauve, then it's possible to get SF Dark offspring. Either case, some of the offspring should be darker than Smoothie.

If there are any splits, there could be a much wider variety of offspring!

LOL! I do tend to forget things every once in a while and need to refresh my mind!

I had quite the interest in mutations, and still do, although now it's mutations in larger species!

But hey, it's nice knowing anyway, at least for curiosities sake! ;)
