my gf has a lutino (yellow) male indian ringneck. it was caught in the wild, as it flew down to her, and she's kept it, and now had the bird 4 a cpl of yrs. the bird knows us well, as it has flown away 4 or 5 times, but will be back in its cage the next day. my question is, when i enter the cage to get him out, he will back away into a corner, but when i get closer and put my hand out, he will climb on instantly. why is this?
also, i feed him his corn on cob nearly every day, i get him out of his cage etc, but i cant get him 2 eat out of my hands.help!!!???!?!?!
any feedback etc would be greatly appreciated.
