Pineapple & Sunshine--Gray/wildtype male cockatiels
My poor Pineapple, what a rough time he's had lately. First this: http://www.parrotforums.com/budgies-parakeets-cockatiels/4384-very-worried-about-pineapple.html ... Then, he had a night fright a week later (that could've been bad, he has some blood feathers), then today...

...He got his foot stuck in his cage. Poor baby, he was so freaked out. There is a slight space in the center of his cage on the roof, and he got his foot lodged in it while playing. It couldve been awful, you wouldn't imagine the thoughts running through my head at the time. I seriously thought he would lose a toe, or have something else land him in the hospital. Thank God, he's okay now. He favors his foot now and then, but he can still use it to perch.

Please pray for my baby, that he feels better soon. :grey:

They say bad things happen in threes... lets hope that's Pineapple's 3.

Glad he's OK now

Will pray for him for sure. Are you thinking about getting a new cage?? Of course any one of our birds could have a serious accident with injury in the cages we have. I do not think any bird cage is guaranteed accident free.

Thats a shame PQ ... hope her foot heals up quickly. I am sure that you are doing all you can for her and before you know it this streak of bad luck will end.

I had a robin get her foot stuck in one of my outdoor lights yesterday morning... it was none to happy about having to let me grab her and free it but she flew away pretty quick after I got her out so I hope it will be alright.
