I recently inherited a red rump. My neighbor went out of town, and when he returned he no longer wanted the bird. I've owned birds before and used to help out at my friends pet store, so I'm familiar with the care. Would really like some pointers on how to tame him more. I would like to be able to hold him and hand feed him. He steps up fairly well, just won't let me get him out. I have good food for him and give him apples for treats. Any info that would not only teach me some things but also make sure I take the best care of him appreciated!
