Hi all in the last 3 mouths ( he is a year old just over) he has been screaming a lot and then when I go to the cage he is fine, he starts talking, he is a tame inside bird. He screams at my brother especially when ever he sees him he screams at him, and my brother hate him because of that:mad: . Is there any way to prevent this from happening also he has been biting my hands a lot more when I go to take him out he nibbles at my hand and then climbs on.
Thanks

You need to post some more information before anyone can offer any rational answers/suggestions/theories...how long have you had this 'tiel? Do everyone in the house interact with him? How long has he been screaming at your brother?

Off-hand, it sounds like he might be screaming for attention, especially yours...where in the house do you keep his cage? How much time a day, do you spend with him? Have you tried any training methods with him?

Is there any possibility that your brother may have hit hit cage or otherwise surprised/spooked him? Although sometimes animals/birds have an aversion to a person, more often there is some reason for the aversion.....

Thought of something else after posting my last.....

Does your brother wear strange clothes, wear his hair in a way that your 'tiel might think strange, tattoos, weird hair, body jewelry or does he tease your 'tiel?

My tiel screams when he needs something. He is a rescue from a sad situation, so he is a little helpless dummy. :)
And how he screams? There is a flock call - loud piercing whistle, or kinda alarm scream when they try to chase away others approaching them (mine does it with the other birds). Both sounds are extremely annoying. Mine bites in the cage when I try to get him out (he very seldom gets the way out of cage), but then steps up and is sweet. But he never bites really hard, so I just do what I need ignoring his bites. Sometimes it helps when I take him with me and let him stay on me - usually he clings to my chest or sits on my lap.
You just have to try different ways to distract him from screaming.
