I have two wonderful cockatiels. I have been taming them with lots of success. They are not shy to step up on my fingers or my hand and they love to eat out of my hands as well. I am confused as to why they don't let my stroke their back or scratch their necks. They aren't afraid of my hands in any other situation but as soon as i go to pet them the skitter away from my hand. I want to be able to pet my pretty birdies! Any suggestions?
