x2 Male Cockatiels (Born Aug 2016)
Sunny - younger, placid & dominant
Sky - Older, trouble, jealous & chewer

Previously had a male Budgie that lived for 12 years.
I was looking at getting a hand raised male parrotlet but would it get along with my male cockatiels if they were out at the same time? Obviously I'd keep them in separate cages though and watch them while they're out.

Its never a sure bet any 2 birds will get along. Parrotlets are however known to be bossy and take zero amount of crap from much bigger birds. They are fearless. Enter into this with that in mind and if they do get along, consider it gravy.

My biggest worry is if they hurt each other since my tiels can get quite jealous of each other.

I did a lot of reading before I got my parrotlet, Bumble. Everything I read says they make great only birds. Their fearless, bossy, sassy nature often winds up with someone being hurt.

Cockatiels have such sweet little faces [emoji4]
