the cage I currently have has 3 food cup holders, one of them not being used. So thereās an empty ring that I could place a platform. I was thinking of simply placing a flat rock on top of the ring so my birds nails can get trimmed a little and to add a resting spot for him. Are there rocks toxic to birds? I would think so because of the minerals. But itās not like heāll break the rock.
Also, i want to add a small container that I can grow sprouts in that will sit at the bottom of the cage so that thereās fresh greens at all times. Any suggestions on what I should use for the container? Donāt plan on using plastic.
