Budgie’s Wing Looks Weird

My blue budgie’s wing appears to be much shorter than the other. He doesn’t seem to have any trouble flying, but after he flies his wing droops and shakes. It appears to me that his feathers are just shorter. I have never clipped him though. What would have caused this? Is it something I should worry about?

B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
How long have you had him? Looks like someone clipped him to me. Will he let you gently pull open the wing?

No, he definitely won’t let me look at his wing. I don’t know how he would have been clipped. I’ve had him for a couple years.

How strange. Has the wing always looked like this or is it recent?

I honestly don’t think it’s very recent. I noticed his wing looked droopy quite a while back (maybe a few months ago), but I just left it at that as he didn’t seem to have any troubles getting around. I noticed it again recently, and I decided this might be the place to ask about it.

Maybe he banged his wing against the cage bars and the flight feathers broke. Or he could have gotten them caught in something and they got pulled out.

Maybe if you hold him gently in a towel, you can inspect the wing
