I have two budgies the one with the white face has a white and blue cere and the one with then yellow face has a really light pink and bluish purple cere. But both Ceres look somewhat similar to each other. When I send people picture of them most people say they are both females, but if they are then why does the one with the yellow face have pink on his cere? Can you tell me what genders they are? Maybe it’s hard to tell because they are changing color since they are going into adulthood?

Here’s a google drive link to the pictures of them:greenyellow:

They do look really similar on camera but in real life you can see more of a pink color on the yellow faced one, do females ever have pink on their cere?

To me the yellow faced seems to have more bleueish cere than pink... but looking on their beak and forehead look like adults. Every adult "non-lutino" male has solid blue cere. In the past I had a female which two times changed the cere color to bluish (later the color was changed to the begininng)
