A cockatiel, a bourke, and three budgies
I have three budgies, two females (or so I'm told) and a male.
Madison is the only one I'm 100% sure on gender. She's a pied budgie, I think olive, maybe grey green? She's definitely darker in shade compared to Squiggles.
Squiggles is a male (I've been told male) he is young though. He is a normal green budgie and bonded with Arctic.
Arctic is a female, (so I've been told) I thought male at first, so she was kept with Squiggles. I might separate them. She is a sky blue pied. I think dilute, could be wrong.
Madison got her name because she was very mad and angry when I first got her, so I called her Little Mads, and Maddy. Decided that she would be named Madison. She's 7 months old.
Squiggles got his name because I was going to name my new cat that, instead that cat was named Dexter, so the bird was named Squiggles. He is around 3 months.
Arctic was going to be named Glacier because of her color, but I decided that Arctic fit her better. She is a little older then Squiggles at about 6 months.
I got Madison about a month before the other two. Arctic is the most tame of the three, while Squiggles is more adventurous, and Madison is very much like Opal...minus the fact that she'll take food from my hand.

Cypress (teal) and Citrine (green) - male american budgies, 7 months.
Just curious, what makes you sure Madison is female?

I'm new at this but I'd definitely guess the same - that Squiggles is male and Arctic is female.
But from those pictures I would have guessed Madison might be male.
Is her cere a lot more whitish in person?

Madison's cere is light blue with some white around the nostrils.
Madison is also 7 months old, had she been a male her cere would be more purple/blue.

Really sweet!
I see those edible perches are a hit for them! My JoJo uses one for sleeping and I have to replace the stump every three months! Their prices vary, depending on where you get them. I am presently paying $3 each!

Now I feel like I'm being ripped off. I'm paying $7! I buy the medium one from Petsmart every couple of months, depending on how quickly they finish it. Jordan use to chew through them every month or two, Elvis every 5-7 months. So far the budgies have had it for 3 weeks, they love it!
