I honestly didn't mean to get that many birds!
I only wanted a cockatiel and a couple of budgies
My parents made a huge mistake by letting me go alone lol.

So many birds.....

I met up with a member off another forum and she gifted me ( ) three beautiful cocks that she bred with a load of gear! Said it was a late birthday present  .

I got 8 budgies in total ( two hens, 6 cocks ) and a cockatiel ( **** ).

Actually, now that I think about it, they didn't actually tell me what the limit was. I think they assumed my money would run out before I got too many lol.

Pics to come, I'm just uploading them now.

Love Ratzy

They are all extremely pretty, though I do think you went a little overboard in getting that many... Its taken me 14 years now (I'm 16) to get my mum to let me get one bird. You have to remember that if you want to keep going to shows at all, it's best to slip under the radar with only a few at a time of something. It's always worked for me with things, and you can get a TON more than if you got them all in bulk at once.

Ps: your whole quarantine thing kinda scares me... I thought I knew everything I would need to know when I bought my first bird, yet I need to make sure that taking the bird to my local vets is enough? I can't wait to get my first bird, I was actually hoping to get a sun conure, but after mum thought about it she said I needed something smaller until the house finally sells, so I'm thinking a cockatiel.
