Picked up a HUGE new cage for my Eclectus :-)

So my hubby and I went to the Jacksonville bird show and picked up a new 40x30X73 silver-black powdercoated cage from Parrotmount Avaires. We got home and went to put it together and realized we were given a top in one color and the body of the cage in another color :-(

We contacted them and drove back to do the exchange. They apoligized and even gave us gas money for our troubles.

We got back home any finally put it together (after cleaning all the panels and checking for andy burrs from welding-there were none).

I put in all the new branches and a couple toys from Echo's old cage. She hopped out of her cage a climbed into the new one right away LOL. She LOVES it. I left both open to give her options but she didn't even give her old California Cage a second look.

Gratz, its beautiful, you are Lucky, I love it, I want one. I must be insane, I dont have a bird yet. (YET) and I mean both the bird and the cage. Such bright colors! you cant even tell she has a harness on.

She is beautiful, I think ekkies are my new favorite bird. She is a lucky girl to have such a great new cage.

That looks to be the same size cage I got for my baby grey, and it was just to big for the space we have. So I am looking to downsize a bit.

She is a very pretty girl, and looks very happy! Where did you get your harness from? I have a diaper/flight suit, but am looking for a harness for outside.

It is an extra small dog harness from petsmart. I open it up, gently put it over one wing, over her head, clip around the other wing and then tighten everything up so that there is no slack and it fits comfy against her. She is fully flighted so I NEVER mess around with taking her outside with out her harness.
