Decided I wanted to rotate Tate's toys and change his cage around. My order came today, so as soon as I got home I got to work... Put new toys on the playstand, outside branch, and inside. Took forever, and now I'm wiped out, and broke ; ) lol.

What a spoiled bird! I really like the natural wood perch attached to the side of the cage. What a great idea!

I like what you did. My conure had one of those grooming toys like that rope hanging out of that plastic cone and she loved that one. I haven't found another but now she has a giant ball of rope she's preening. We also had those plastic links, and she liked those a lot for awhile. She has a thing about chewing wood and bells the most though, but that's her. It does seem like all my birds have preferences for different things.

I bet Tate will be really pleased by all the variety!

Thank you for these pics! I've been on the fence about getting a flight cage for Con. How does your bird do with the guillotine doors though? I'd be a tad worried about them. I love the wood on the side and the playgym on the top :)

Thanks Roxy. I bought the rope/cone toy from mysafebird store. Here's a link if you'd like to get another for her. Jungle Talk Cotton Candy Small - X-SMALL- SMALL BIRD TOYS by MY SAFE BIRD STORE

Sure thing : ) Yes, I love the flight style cages. They just give you more freedom to add accesories in my opinion. Like having the flat top to add the playgym, etc. Tate doesn't attempt to get out of the sliding doors. Never had a problem with them at all. I've only had him for a couple of months so far, but I had the exact same cage (but the side by side double flight) for my cockatiels and they never got out either. You can also find such good deals for them on Ebay and Amazon - $125 or less including shipping for the single style like I have for Tate. It's a lot of cage for the money.

Yeah I've been checking it out on Ebay and once I saw your pictures, I went to the website and put it in my cart. Once I've moved, I'll think about getting it. I really liked the flat top and the large door. I thought it was just two small doors. That wouldn't work with Con as she can be squirrely and not want to come out sometimes. I think I'll put some metal coop cups on the doors so they're heavier and tie them down just in case. Don't want her loose in a cabin with 4 cats!

Thanks for the tip about the toy. I haven't seen another locally in years, but that was one of her favorite things. She loves to preen hair, and those are a lot like hair.

There are a few things I want from mysafebirdstore, so I will be sure to add one or two of those to my order.
