There is a King's cages seller on ebay who has it cheaper. After I emailed him yesterday to ask what colors he had, he is now offering it to me for an even lower price, hmm.

I'm probably not going to buy one right away as Merlin is not chewing her cage anymore since I took the grate out. But, down the road I am going to get one. However, I found a lot of reviews online on other parrot forums and they were all very positive. So if you like the cage, I'd go ahead and get one. It's much easier on the wallet than stainless steel, and nothing dangerous for the bird to ingest.

I wish I had the money for 2 of those right now! The fact that it completely knocks down, which I'm assuming means it sort of folds up like a dog crate does, would be a space saver on our move. I can't have the movers take the cages because they can take up to 2 weeks after you arrive at your destination to show up with your stuff. So I need to take the cages with us. Only way to do that is to drive both cars instead of towing the other with the SUV, so that we can rent a tow-behind. Grrr...

So thank you for posting that Roxy! I'm putting it on my wish list ;)

Yes, I'm still hoping to get one. Without a grate in her cage, I have to clean Merlin's poop up as soon as she makes it or she accidentally steps in it, and gets upset of course. She also constantly builds nests. First though I need a good air cleaner.

If I were close to you, I have a pickup truck, unless of course it's a long move. I also have a big trailer.

Aw, thanks Roxy, but it's going to be a long move. Right now, we're in Seattle but he's being offered a position in AZ. The Navy wanted send us to VA until they realized he's broken. We also traveled out here from Upstate NY 5.5 years ago.

I don't think we know how to do short moves
