Cotton perches all the way?

i've noticed a lot of people setting up cages only with booda/cotton perches,
for whatever types of parrots, and no wooden perches. was wondering if that's
actually alright to do? i've always known that they need several types of
perches in their cages and wood is what they would naturally perch on most
of the time sooo.. just wondering.

I dont have any cotton perches....i do have a boing, but he doesn't get on it, just plays with it with his beak...I have 2 wooden perches, a concrete one and one with sandpaper on it, all various widths and lengths

I dont have cotton perches... I have a large sandy perch, a concrete one and 2 different sized wooden ones in Codies Cage.. She does have a Boing which she loves to clamber in and out of

I have one cotton rope perch for Pixel. She always sits on it when she sleeps regardless of whether its the highest perch or not. I figure because its softer and warmer on her feet. The remainder of her perches are assorted natural word perches I've cut to size and sanitized. She won't sit on the cement/sandpaper perches, so I just clip her nails myself.

I have a booda perch and a boeing in each of my gcc cages. The rest are sand, cemment and natural perches.
If they don't have natural perches then they cant chew the bark off of them wich most parrots love to do.

well the reason i'm asking is because when i put up booda perches in Klaus' cage, he
almost never perches on his wooden perches unless he wants to eat, since the food and
water cups are next to it. he also decides to perch on the side of the food cup holder
instead of on the wooden perch. i have a feeling i should just leave booda perches in his
cage and get rid of the wooden ones. he doesn't seem to chew on the perches but he has
plenty of wooden toys that he likes to chew on.
