I am looking for a new home for these two. Their current home seems way to small. I just don't like it.
IMAG0025.jpg

When I see this picture here all I see is TOO DANG SMALL!!!

So I want to get something bigger for them what would be a good size for Mags and Gonzo? I cant seem to find any info on what size would be good for BOTH birds.

I know I should be looking for half inch spacing. I would like something along this line I would like to keep it under $400 now would they need more width like This one here

Or something just HUGE in general like this one here.

What is the ABOSLUTE smallest home that any of you would put a bonded pair in?

Thanks a head of time.

It depends on how much out of cage time they get, if they are only in it to sleep or for no more then two hours a day the cage can be about 32x23 but if they are in it most of the day I think the second cage would be perfect. I think an days can have 1" bar spacing because my green cheeks are in 5/8".

I have no problem being out of cage for at least 8 hours on top or on play stands.. But they have no interest in leaving their current home at all. I left their door open all day and nothing.

Yes if I remember correctly they can have 1" bar spacing so you could actually get a macaw cage if it has 1" spacing.

How many perches do they have?
And no offence but their cage really needs to be cleaned.

I know.... That needs a good cleaning. I don't have anything else for them to get into while I clean it.

There are 4 perches and 1 of those rope perches. I did not want to do any big changes with their home till the get a little used to me. They have only been home for 2 days since I went to get the. But when I can get near them with out my ears bleeding I am going to start a BIG clean.

Oh I didn't know how long they were with you, my apologies.
But anyway I think as long as the cage has 1" bar spacing you can go as big as you want.
