Australian shops

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if you can post the website because of the rules on the forum but if not, just post what the brand is called.

I've been looking for a place that is reliable in Australia that sells large cages. I don't really want to buy on eBay or tradingpost as I don't know what birds have been in them or what not. And no pet stores have cages big enough!

Anyone know? Would be a great help

Hello

I got my cage off ebay, just a big supplier which sells big brand new cages, sent in a big flat packed box

so didn't have to worry about if other birds have been in them

and they usually are a lot cheaper than in shops !

What bird is it for, I too got mine from eBay and to say it was a bargain is an understatement!

As others have said though it is hard to beat the flatpack cages on eBay. I have used one in the past and quality was great!

If you buy a cage online, be careful where you get it from and if you want to buy through GTMall, buy through their ebay store! Also buy it WELL in advance because the quality of their cages is highly variable. Sometimes they are gorgeous, other times they are not worth the small amount you paid. I hate the cage I got

I have modified it some but I would have preferred to buy something more expensive if it was of better quality. I think mine will be totally unsuitable for the little bird I want to put in it

Mine was from ozplaza.living on eBay and for the ~$70 I paid delivered, I wasn't expecting much but I was extremely surprised when it got here. I would have paid $150+ in a store in Perth and then I would have had shipping on top of that.
Possibly one of my best ever eBay purchases.

I paid 299 for my cage and 70 dollars postage

it is HUGE, i had no idea it was that big haha and didnt take too long to put together

it was from gt mall
all the other large cages in the shops are at least over 600 dollars, and smaller than the one i have!
best ebay purchase ever!

It is just a fun little project at this stage and I am really enjoying the design aspect of it. I have my suppliers though so check back in a couple of weeks

Wow, that's a lot of messages! So I'm taking it eBay is the way to actually go? Awesome! And it's for an eclectus so i want to get the biggest cage I can afford! So a bargain would be good as a lot of big cages are like 1000+. That's everyone for your input and your website does look great klaery, I will defiantly keep my eye out for the cage!
