Lastnight I found a cak.... shaped like a long capsule you could say with a dome top. It was whit, 66 inches long and 28 inches round. I simply wanted it for my yard this summer. Its white and has a scroll design at the top. It was being sold used for $100 but for local pick up only in FL, I'm in PA :( U will try to paste the link. I have no idea if this cage was used for indorrs or outdoors, as I have never seen anything like it. I even messaged the seller to ask where it was purchased but so far I haven't gotten a response.

Weco, I tried that... it kept saying it had too many characters. If anyone would like to see it it is under bird supplies on ebay, the 3rd page. Its whit and looks like its sitting in a driveway.... Melbourne, FL. I will try again though.

Is this the one?

Apparently not, but I found it on your page 3, guess I didn't look far enough.....anyway, I copied the address & pasted it into the quick reply.....you might have picked up some extraneous characters. :)

Sorry, that other link was a re-route & some browser security features block these kind of links.....sorry, didn't realize the link was that....the above link works with firefox & chrome.....would try it on ie, but took that browser off my machine.

Just took a quick look around the net & used "large, tall, round, iron bird cage" as the search parameters (without the quotes) and it brought up a couple of thousand hits of all shapes & sizes.....I have seen one like you're interested in & it was very heavy, painted wrought iron.....for a yard ornament, that's probably what you're looking for, as a normal wire cage would probably rust out.....IMHO

Found one similar, but not as good (website is Backyard Birding):

My suggestion would be to contact the eBay seller and ask them if they would be willing to accept a UPS pickup appointment of the item (maybe for an additional price if they are hesitant). They probably only said "local pickup" because they don't feel like packing it up and hauling it to a UPS store. But I'm sure if you made it easy on them by arranging the pickup, they would probably be willing. Either that or you could look into some sort of courier service.

Posted this in the other thread....

I can't tell you where to get it, all I can say is that I'm not a fan of it.

Round cages are not recommended because birds don't have a 'corner' to hide in. They can also be hard to place perches, dishes and toys in due to the 'limited' amount of space inside of them. I'm also not a fan of the 'curly cue' design as this creates larger holes that a ligament or head cold potentially get stuck in... not to mention the "V" shaped wires.

At only 28" diameter, this is a relatively small cage for a large parrot... so again, I don't like it.

If it works, here's the images for others to view (may have to copy and paste)
