Need cage recommendations for 3 small conures

Hello,

We are moving across country and have decided to get a new cage for our new place. We have three small conures (2 maroon bellied, 1 GCC) all in the same cage. I would like to try to find a cage that cuts down on food mess since our boys like to flick their food. A while back we had a cage with a plexiglass surround around the bowl area but haven't seen anything like that now. Also, we are moving from a house to townhouse, so any recommendations on how to dampen the noise at all? I don't want any upset neighbors because our birds like to be vocal in the morning.

Thanks.

A&E, HQ, Centurion, Prevue, Kings flight cages! The ones that are 32 x 21.

As for dishes, you could always look into the perch cup setups... as seen on this page.

You can easily buy acrylic sheets for one or two sides of the cages where the dishes will be placed to help reduce mess there, too. You can get office mats (the plastic ones that go underneath a desk) to place underneath the cage itself, or use other smooth surface item if the cage is going to be above carpet.

Thanks for the replies. We do use one of those plastic office mats under the cage. The problem is is they flick their seed onto the walls. It hasn't been as bad since we switched off Zupreem to a seed blend, but it still gets messy even with seed catchers. I do like the idea of those enclosed feeding bowls, those look like they would help. Thanks for the cage recommendations too.

Does anyone have any experience with this cage? It seems to be well reviewed at Petco: Petco Designer Mink Brown Standing Parrot Cage - Parrot Bird Cage and Playtop Bird Cage from Petco.com

You could always put an acrylic sheet on the back of the cage, or on the wall itself... likewise, you could also hang up a shower curtain on the wall and just wipe down as needed.

I don't have the Petco cage, but I've seen many people rave about how they love it.
