King's is the same as K&E? Looks like their design in detail, but the color names and selection is different. I like the horizontal wires on the sides for climbing, the full-height door, latches, food hatches, etc. If the grate and tray is like mine, that is nice too. I don't like the black color in particular. I don't care for the style of playtop, but it can serve as a starting point for attaching your own stuff. I wish there was a trap door so he could go down into the cage when ready, but I've not seen that in a modern cage.

The color is pretty awful. Luckily, there are a few options there. My wife says we're getting grey, and I bow to her wisdom in such things.

What type of playtops do you prefer? I was thinking of installing a java branch up there. I've seen pictures of other cages around the forum and it looks like it works out well. I'm always open to new ideas, though.

I'm a little leary of trap doors. I was digging through forum posts here and someone mentioned the possibility of injuring a bird while opening/closing them. Being that Caiques will always go to the exact place they're not supposed to be... well, I was a little worried. Have you had good luck with them?
