I am getting one for my galah soon, and looking for ideas of how to set it up. The plan is not to crowd it too much, so she can fly (or at least flap) between perches and play areas to give her more exercise.

I already have two manzanita perches that will go all the way across the cage depth-wise, some shorter perches that are currently in her cage, and I'm probably going to get a rope swing too.

I also set up Rosie's cage for wing room, but her cage is not a double macaw cage XD although that would be awesome ;)

Utilize natural foliage, and make a lot of fun interactive things in the cage for her. Grow your own grass and when the grass is ready cut it, rinse it down, and add it because galahs LOVE foraging.

I live in an apartment...is it possible to grow suitable grasses and foliage out on my patio? Where would I get the seeds? Unfortunately I live in Oregon, too, so I probably couldn't grow them year-round...it's a great idea in theory, just don't know if I could make it work.

You could grow grass inside as well. You could always try growing grains for one. Birdseed for another.

Once did birdseed in a small container and grew that out. Only lasted a day! Cause at the end of the day, it had dried out and the birds had trampled it! LOL
