I'm having a really hard time finding a carrier that you can carry over your shoulder for two birds. My two aren't to the point where they are getting along well enough to be in a carrier together, so all I want is a split carrier that I can take them to the beach with us or on walks that I can carry over my shoulder on a strap. Anyone have any luck or ideas? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places....I only found a split one names "pack O bird" that was like 400-500 dollars..there has to be a cheaper option!!

The only carrier I know of at all that can be worn like a backpack is the pak-o-bird. All the other carriers on the market are just either small cages or those plastic dog/cat ones modified with a perch. I know the pak-o-bird is expensive, but it is worth every penny! They are very well made and designed 100% with a parrots needs in mind. Kiwi comes out in his almost daily during the summer, or walks, hikes, running errands with me, to the farmers market, flea markets ext... The bird LOVES coming out and about, and those backpacks are a safe and easy way to bring him:) I almost think the backpack was a better investment than his cage.

Still on that mission, but looking for my mushy! <3
The pak-o-bird truly is the only option... It's wonderful! Purchasing any boot leg option would mean that the birds might get harmed or won't last as long. You get what you pay for. :)
